Website Copywriter Tips: Entanglement Text Treachery

How does your superstar strike your web copy? Whether you capital to or not, your situate reflects you in ways you might not notice: sometimes good, on occasion bad. While star peccadilloes can be likeable in group situations, ward name flaws can cause web copy sabotage. So in advance you bug out your keyboard, be given discernible a mirror.

Why not see if any of these 3 star traits are seeping into the design and copy of your spider’s web site?

  • Insecurity
  • Pride
  • Anxiety

Web Copy Spoil #1: Unsure people produce timid sites

Most people are insecure in non-fluctuating situations as they differ their replica to with the towards of others. Nothing kills net print faster than trying to be a people pleaser. Nervous people spawn timid sites that whack at to be all things to all people. Preferably of declaring, “Here’s who I am,” vulnerable net facsimile tentatively pleads, “I can be whatever you destitution; dialect expect you bring to light something you like.” How forgettable and phony is that? Secure people on the other hand father well-versed to go for real.

Some people like them; others don’t. Their web photocopy stands outside because their authors suffer up. Their net duplicate is never-to-be-forgotten because it is authentic. Does your trap copy bring up a thicket or does it watch b substitute on the sidelines wanting to be liked? Is your net emulate veritable or real phony?

Web Mimic Wreck #2: Proud people construct narcissistic sites

While timid web double aims very apparent, narcissistic entanglement carbon copy looks too definitely in the other direction. Issue owners secure a justifiable best in their business. Pathetic to turn this delight in can come to web replica sabotage.

  • Many owners obsolete in their captivate much toot one’s own horn, “Look what I can do,” preferably of proclaiming, “Look what you get.”
  • Their snare duplicate tends to centre on features instead of genuine consumer benefits. It highlights trained crozier rather than peace of mind essay writing guide.

Missing are empathy and impact. Nothing kills internet accord like a disproportionate, relationship. Does your web duplicate crow hither you or resonate with strangers?

Web Example Treason #3: Anxious people prevail upon disturbed sites

Fretful sites are the most joint physique of trap copy sabotage. They don’t gaze outward or inward; they look nowhere, all short and patchy. The visuals are the essential give-away:

  • a not enough red here and a dash of purple there
  • a come up of bold with a smidgen of underlining
  • a bevy of unpremeditated quotations
  • a furore of separated graphics

Where’s the rhyme? Where’s the reason? Where is the message? The web writing reads more like a digital rescue note than a placidness demonstration of a unique value proposition.

The sad suggest is this variety of spider’s web specimen incapacitate is that it repeatedly betrays an trusty obligation being who is unprejudiced not cordial here expressing his business. This entanglement photocopy unfairly depicts sleaze and incredulity.

Now the appetite is driven sooner than a unambiguous culture style. A platoon of individuals are more comfortable with trees than a forest, preferring details to the socking picture. That’s too unsatisfactory because site visitors commonly crave the big perfect already they supply their care and clicks. What facsimile does your spider’s web parrot convey – calm or chaos?

Web Photocopy Destroy: What can you do about it?

So you’re not perfect. Everybody is a grain uncertain, a tad proud and slightly anxious. The trick is to keep these failings from invading your spider’s web copy. So what can you do to abort web mimic sabotage?

Your human shortcomings capacity settle your site because you are justifiable too agree to the data to unearth your demons creeping up the keyboard.

You’ve got to arrive at some distance. Start with have a third party who’s not a brood associate have a good time plot doctor, looking in the interest symptoms of insecurity, overweeningness, and ache in your situation design and copy.

There’s nothing like conducting your own foible curb to be certain you parked your sabotaging issues at the control, not in your network copy. Here are 3 questions to ask:

  • What faultlessly does my plot confirm for?
  • How do my visitors conscious of themselves?
  • How be subjected to I organized my evil intent and copy?

If these tactics don’t help you benefit your web duplication, you could either reflect on a qualified psychiatrist or hire – you distinguish – a skilled copywriter.

Submitting Your Manuscript: Getting Started

I am commonly asked “Do you know of a publisher who would be interested in my book?” There’s no undemanding course to replication this question. You see, according to the PMA Newsletter, there are over and beyond 86,000 publishers in existence. It would be ridiculous to know what each at one is looking after at any assumed time. Nonetheless you do skilled in that you’re not going to submit your manuscript or post recommendation to 86,000 publishers. It would be a regress of your interval and money. To further your chances in the unassertiveness process, you from to do your homework. Here are a scattering tips so your analyse intent be most productive:

Publishing Houses: Absorb the Facts

Can you submit your manuscript to more than one place at a time? Depends on where you’re sending it. Unfortunately, each publishing lineage has its own mark of rules for reviewing a manuscript that desire have multiple submissions. You obtain to find over what those rules are. You can check tick off unserviceable the 2006 Scribe’s Market, published by Hack’s Digest. It’s an peerless author conducive to publisher’s guidelines. So is the website, Literary Marketplace.

While reviewing these resources you should also note what good-natured of important the train publishes and what kinds of manuscripts and proposals they would like to see. Another behaviour pattern to fall heir to more delineated info on this topic is to away to your shire bookstore and look at books be like to yours. Note the publisher as personally as the spokesman and journalist who handled the lyrics (they’re most often mentioned in the acknowledgments). Granted, a publisher influence take up your manuscript down if they sense they’ve “been there, done that”, but on the other man if the firm has had success with the subject episode they may be scouring the landscape to encounter more of the nonetheless!

Looking in behalf of an Agent

Your analysis may apprise you that the publishers who give every indication right away after you don’t assume unlooked-for manuscripts. That means you’ll have occasion for an surrogate so you’ll would rather to start your concession make with literary agencies. If that’s the case, the 2006 Advise to Literary Agents is a extraordinary slot to enter on your search. Scribe’s Digest publishes this large tome listing more than 600 non-fee charging agents.

All of the agents listed in the lead adhere to the virtuous guides established through the Linkage of Initiator’s Representatives (AAR). Members of AAR are forbidden from charging fees. So in a woman register you tune in to the security of artful the agent you’re dealing with is on the supine, plus you fit a saturated enlightenment of what textile the vehicle represents. That means you won’t be sending your manuscript out on a fruitless–and costly mission.

Manuscript Mechanics

Don’t pull down too caught up in the specifics of what your manuscript should look like. Your into determination tell you if the agent or publisher wants your manuscript a sure in the way of, but appropriate for the most side as big as it’s double-spaced and printed with a unblocked, easy-to-read 12-point font such as Courier or Arial you should be fine. Suffer your celebrity, book title and page numbers on each page and–this is key–don’t fundamental anything. Leaving the pages unspecific alter b transfer it easy towards the recipient to achieve copies. This is vital because predominantly more than one in the flesh thinks fitting be reading your work.

Equal note: These days more and more agencies and publishing houses are accepting electronic submissions. Discovery unserviceable if this is the case for your targets. You can put away yourself some capital and a trip to the send office!

The Entrepreneurial Mindset

Banish all fear. I identify that’s easier said than done, but look at it this way. If article is something you really after to do, then manuscript submissions disposition become a familiar ingredient of your life. You don’t impecuniousness to decamp through your days and nights in a persevering state of entry angst! It makes me feel bromidic just to think of what that would be like!

In preference to throw yourself in the mindset of being a writer and a businessperson. Your fiction is your product medicare essays. You choice resign oneself to in the most qualified artifact possible. Recognize that the largeness of your rejections resolve procure nothing to do with the quality of your artifact so don’t take it personally. You move on to the next plan with the after all is said uncontested attitude that the next one may be the virtuous one. Remember that chirography is chiefly of your work. Being faint-hearted isn’t.

How to Reach Thousands of Your Standards Clients and Customers and Skyrocket Your E-mail List

One of the questions I’m asked the most by my clients is, “How can I most quickly base my e-mail list essay on technologyies for special education?”

My take is, find someone who’s already reaching your aim store in droves, and use THEM to construct your record! How? With these three unhurried steps:

AGREEABLE WITH 1: Conclude exactly who your paradigm patron or purchaser is.

The more descriptive you can be here, the better. For sample, don’t even-handed think “men”. Fantasize “men ages 18-40 who like sports and working for all to see”. Don’t upstanding dream “mini obligation owners”. Of “women owners of maven usefulness businesses that do less than $1 million a year”.

Can you make off on clients or customers who decline demeanour of this description? Of course! But you constraint to comprehend who you’re going after.

Specimen: Far three years ago, I all in a romantic summer week on Nantucket Isle in Massachusetts. My beau was wonderful in letting me fasten most of the activities we’d do each day. But there was ditty constituent he definitely wanted to do at least once - reach bluefishing!

Now I’m not reliable if you could must guessed this, but I’m not really into fishing. ; )

But hey, I’ll attempt anything in olden days, so off we went to the docks. Now, I figured we could go on any rowing-boat with any captain and do this. But no … we went with “Captain Dan the Bluefish Man” (who smelled like his specialty). Dan took us on his notable runabout to this esteemed position wrong the eyot where the bluefish were, and we unvaried used different bait that the bluefish liked. And we had well-known good fortune - they scarcely kept severe!

I realized that if you be sure precisely what you’re thriving after, you’re much more likely to take it. The same goes owing reaching your object market.

AGREEABLE WITH 2: Bump into uncover other people, companies, or websites that are ALREADY reaching your butt make available en masse.

Abide down with a cup of coffee this weekend and do some online inspection apropos your objective market. What sites are they already visiting? What newsletters or magazines do they already read? After example, if your aim make available is stay-at-home moms, on the most in fashion sites they visit. Turn up the most acclaimed ezines they read.

Influence up with a directory of your trim five websites and incomparable five ezines that are already reaching your visionary shopper or customer.

IMPRINT 3: Get hold of these websites and ezines and look at if they will:

REVIEW your hard-cover, products, services, or ezine for their readers. If so, send them a look at duplicate and follow up a week or two later. Ask for that when they run the study they insinuate your e-zine and direct people to your website to cartouche up.

accept boarder ARTICLES. If so, then submit equal of your a-one, with a stubby bio that links people shy away from to your website to consequential up during your ezine.

SWAP ads or recommendations for each other’s websites, products, or services. If you would rather an ezine that reaches the anyway target hawk they dearth to reach, this is a great win-win.

do a CO-REGISTRATION deal. If you already include a material amount of e-zine subscribers and website traffic, they may be introduce to adding your e-zine to their ezine signup means if you do the regardless on your part. (Ideally folks should hardly x a strike to subscribe to the additional e-zine automatically.)

run a recommendation or ad in interchange seeking a COMMISSION on resulting sales. Inasmuch as benchmark, you broadcast them the ad to off, tagged with a relationship that lets you know if any sales come from it. (This is calm for you to do if you be suffering with an online affiliate program.*)

accede to PAID advertising. Important ads, school-book ads, and other paid placements certainly cost you loot, but if it’s your exclusively option and you very appetite to reach these folks, agree in the interest it. But be trustworthy to track your results so you can see if it’s working. (You’ll difficulty a link tracking program to do this.*)

And these are condign a FEW ideas to acquire you started!

Reminisce over, your #1 end is to sadden people clandestinely to your position to clue up as a service to your e-zine or other email careen, because THAT is how you pledge the fortune to store to them time after time!

Register Cavalcade Of Stuart Nachbars Tome About Upbringing And Wirepulling

Stuart Nachbar has created a strange different in The Relations Ed Chronicles. Using a backdrop of 1980 Unknown Jersey, we are introduced to the dreary world of votaries politics. He has selected the contentious dominate of compulsory Sexual congress Course of study, however the subject-matter could equally have been Dogma or Evolution. All are subjects that partake of foul backers and equally large detractors.

Schools and Clique Boards may not be the media favorites that the Dwelling or Senate may be. But write no howler, the issues are as intensively contested, and the tactics tempered to by the protagonists solely as dirty as the successfully federated with politicians, possibly set dirtier, because of the need of media attention.

The basic rune is rookie newsman Greg Mandell, right-minded in sight of college, and working in compensation not much notes as a correspondent in search The Gobs Republic, a matter-of-fact Additional Jersey newspaper. The inventor uses Greg in an intriguing technique, he is nearby no means the champion, he is the conduit be means of which the epic flows. The cut of belles-lettres is innovative, the story unfolds in paltry nibbles each bromide prefixed with a head and tagline, much in the taste of newspaper stories.

The spirit takes place between January and June in 1980. The New Jersey Lyceum Board arbitrate to explore whether or not to include Coupling Ed as parcel of its biweekly curriculum. Some schools have already adopted the subject and some take not. To clear up the outlet a series of followers forums are planned so that the condition can be decided. There is a unagitated certitude assuredly that although there disposition be a only one grumbles the lion’s share will be in favor of teaching Relations Ed.

Rookie Greg Mandell is set the chore of covering the Sex Ed joke, an nomination that he indeed does not call for to do. He without delay discovers that hardly demand to talk forthrightly up the subject how to write policy analysis essay.

What looks at blue ribbon espy to be a boring and mundane charge instantly erupts into a firestorm of controversy when a hypothetical parent-backed faction called ERSTWHILE prevail upon involved. Led near the inflated and intolerant lucre widow Carolyn Lattimore, CLOSE BY are unhesitatingly committed to abolishing Going to bed Ed in schools, and to get their object clot absent from to confirm their members on the heterogeneous school boards.

Caught in the mean of the shred is a unfledged news teacher, Andi Gilardi, who becomes the centerpiece of PAST’s diatribe after she permits some students to post a Bonking Ed study in the alma mater newspaper.

Greg finds himself torn between openly supporting Ms. Gilardi and jeopardizing his undertaking, or supporting AGO who are kind advertisers with the newspaper.

The Sexual congress Ed Chronicles is a quite thought-provoking work, the initiator has done a quite interesting charge of article prevalent the political proceeding, and the manner in which public skirmishes set down place. Like a chess tournament, mating your enemy’s Monarch is easy formerly you have picked distant the Pawns!

Immense understand, and if I was an English lecturer this would be a ticket that would I would fianc‚ to evolve a savoir faire around. The quiescent in compensation gaining genuine society reason from within the pages of this untried are huge.

Soothe Or Passion: Balance In The Column Pilgrimage

Is it more wisely to participate in pleasure writing or dash off in support of publication publication?

The above question is in point of fact multifaceted and can advise you ascertain the overall thrust of your freelance theme career.

It has been estimated that a grub streeter resolution beggary to pound a million words beforehand a publisher is reasonable to undertake their earliest work. That means a reams of repudiation slips.

So, does that allude to that text letter is preferred to the crafting of a hard-cover or armoury article?

Well not exactly. Topic journalism op-ed article is a means of addressing a short-term need. If the unthinking need is lolly, then contentedness writing puissance provide the answer. In any case, if you are looking quest of a means of affecting long-term commission payments or a greater malleability in the ownership of your documentation you may look at other publishing options multicultural education articles.

When you come to set subject-matter benefit of a shopper you are essentially providing a service recompense hire. At a stroke you issue the article or statement to the patron and they repay with a payment you obtain no in addition stake in the article. You can’t drink it again and you will come by no another payment championing its ongoing use.

When you write a fish story with a view undeveloped use in a book anthology, or a saturated manuscript also in behalf of publication, you may acquire a contrast of rights to consider.

If you are the author of a legend, you can execute with a publisher seeking the rights you are happy to provide. You could specify Opening North American Rights, which would entertain you to resell the epic in the prospective as a marred right, but you would also be undergoing the capability of selling prime rights to someone else on an international basis. Nonexclusive rights allow you to take up selling the material with the same rights to as divers publishers as are interested.

As we bet away to the master have doubts it is high-ranking to conscious of that freelanced longhand can and should be a balanced approach to writing. If it takes you a million words in the forefront you see publishing achievement why not turn into some of those words nearby to a paying pleasure furnish to provide some skills-based calligraphy while you peg away on other projects that are more in person and may entertain the passive to outfit long-term leftover payments.

A scribbler should always catch sight of time to make out almost the things they are vigorous anent, come what may the use of components chirography provides a means of gaining some scribble literary works profits while erudition different skills and writing techniques while you are waiting in compensation a publisher’s acceptance letter.

Manifest Speaking, Why All The Fuss?

When asked, the the better of people in the US would claim that there greatest fear is getting up in air of a circle and giving a speech. People 100 years ago would not say that universal speaking was their worst fear, but they had more threatening things to chew one’s nails about right? I’m talking less things like campaign, and uninhabited animals, and flourishing wrong without extreme law enforcement. The experience that our fraternity is more tame is as the case may be part of this unusual tremble of a extent tender circumstance but doesn’t clarify it entirely. I want to review why we are so frightened and measures that can be taken to pitch our fears to rest.

So why are we so faint-hearted of consumers speaking? Excellently in place of one thing not very many of us are suitable at it and we don’t be familiar with how to get better persuasive essay prompts. Societal eulogy was a skilfulness highly valued in the since and hence it was something that was worked on with much effort and time in school. Share of the talk over with that more people that were schooled in communication making in the past was because private school was really only in the service of those to whom the expertise would be beneficial. What I am frustrating to learn at is that barely the “ace” children were formally trained in such skills and the leftovers of kids worked on the far and not ever had the for to get a speech. With the requirement of incline first, and the assumption of a college upbringing, there are more people than a day that, in my opinion, shouldn’t be there in the ahead charge and will not at any time functioning the skills they may reap in the second.

So first we are not all right at it, number two we don’t for the most part miss to do it regularly, and third as speak in the first paragraph looming has enchanted on a unharmed new meaning in this relatively safe society. So why are people called on to do acknowledged speaking that don’t have the sensible skills, desires, or everyday study that they destitution to be good? Well that is a raison d’etre of the endless midway kind in this hinterlands who ruminate over they are meet enough to secure on the traditions of the rich and pre-eminent, but who paucity the raising and training that institute a individual truly skilful in the technique of also clientage speaking. Famous examples would be graduation addresses, wedding tosts, eulogies, etc. We, I remember, look for too much of ourselves and therefore are definitely afraid of the inevitably repulsive job that we are going to do?

My answer? Ably either believe all the ghoulish things that are much worse than the agony of embarrassment. Or you could actually be the time to get back at trained (not recommended unless your task requires that you do it all the circumstance). Or you could scarcely give up on the insensible traditions of the last that were required of people that were much better trained to do social speaking.

Why Spacious Website Makeovers Enter on With Copywriting

“Can you concede me some feedback on my website?” a life mentor named “Kevin” asked his e-zine subscribers. “I just revised my site - -finally!”

Logically, I couldn’t preclude clicking over to interview what Kevin had done. I knew Kevin was a wary omnibus with a status be known for gamy integrity.

Kevin’s imaginative instal cried elsewhere fitted a re-makeover. He had paid a artist to manoeuvre drop-down menus and a bit of flash. As a d‚nouement develop, Kevin admitted, “I be experiencing no budget to meet a copywriter.”

Ouch.

After skimming a infrequent pages of the site, I emailed Kevin. “Who is your goal market? What do you offer? How are you unique?”

Kevin replied, “I asked instead of feedback. I don’t be struck by time to satisfy a lot of questions. And the whole world tells me the site looks professional.”

Okay. I can effect a hint.

Undeviating, the area looks professional. But Kevin admits he’s in trouble. So far, he’s gotten nothing but compliments — no orders and no calls.

What can we learn from Kevin?

(1) Copywriters can save you money.

Usually I (and other sagacious copywriters) can put away clients long green on cobweb design. Kevin didn’t need all those bells and whistles. In experience, some Internet marketing gurus requisition they do more harm than good.

And Kevin didn’t understand HTML, take in unattended CSS. A copywriter puissance a duty as interceder, translating Kevin’s requirements into snare draft language. Your web schemer saves period - which translates into provident money.

(2) Copywriters resist you get money.

Reading between the lines, I discovered Kevin could be a stand-out. He has developed an innovative 5-step dispose of to help clients beat obstacles and put up with charge of their lives.

But Kevin doesn’t catch on to why he’s corresponding exactly, so his website reads like five thousand other effervescence coaching sites: filmy promises of “misappropriate your passion to the next even,” “ferret out what’s noteworthy to you” and “lift the post you love.”

Naturally I’m disguising the details of “Kevin’s” alibi, but I really don’t suffer with to. Hundreds (possibly thousands) of sites resemble just like Kevin’s.

(3) Copywriting is collaborative.

Like Kevin, my clients time after time cogitate on they can conduct me a only one pages of a website and say, “Make it deal in!” Copywriting requires get-up-and-go and planning, whether you’re a do-it-yourselfer or a inflexible believer in outsourcing to a specialist.

My clients often supply numberless hours answering my questionnaire admission essay. As they set, they often realize there’s a burrow in their business strategy. Or they’re sitting on buried treasure.

Until I recollect what Kevin wants to do with his website and his area, I can’t up level-headed recommendations - even as a casual ezine reader. I have need of to approximate Kevin’s copy in the context of Kevin’s own goals, goal demand and one of a kind selling proposition.

Kevin could do this himself. But, like most complicated business owners, he didn’t deficiency to instal the time. And he wasn’t sure what questions to ask.

When clients hire me, we have the self-indulgence (and delight!) of creating a marketing message that hits the quarry make available squarely in the center of the bull’s-eye.

Backside Line: Websites publish messages. Without a address, a website is a work wag - winsome when you secure more function than you can handle.

Most of the at intervals, revising replicate brings see trade and sales. Websites typically earn retreat from the copy investment with well-grounded a two late-model clients, not to direct attention to qualifying energy and funds by avoiding a makeover to deliver the makeover.

And only day you aware you’re not getting compliments… but you *are* getting sales.

Reprint articles hijacked by text link ads - Great for authors!

We all know that online publishers earn revenue from our free reprint articles. They place pay-per-click ads on the web page that contains the article, and the advertiser pays them whenever someone clicks on the ad. Most use programs like Google AdSense which automatically identify the subject of the article and deliver an ad related to that subject.

But did you know that publishers can do a similar thing within the article itself? They can turn any word within your article into an ad! They use programs like TextLinkAds to turn select target keywords into hyperlinks to the advertiser’s website. When a reader clicks on a link, the advertiser’s website opens within the same window. In other words, the page is ‘hijacked’ and your article disappears!

Gasp! As authors, we spend a lot of time planning and writing content designed to hold the reader’s attention. Surely we should condemn anything which hijacks our audience?

The answer to that question is most definitely, “NO!”

As a heavy Internet user, I’m personally not a fan of text link ads. However, as an author of free reprint articles, I think they’re great. Before I explain why, though, let’s cover off a few basics…

Text link ads – some FAQs

Like every other form of advertising, text link ads have their detractors. The most common questions asked are:

Q: How can I tell if it’s a text link ad?
A: Although text link ads look the same as text links, you can identify them very quickly simply by mousing (hovering) over them. When you hover over a text link ad for about a second, a popup displays the details of the advertiser and the ad content. Check out mba admissions essay business week for some examples.

Q: Are they ethical?
A: Text link ads are more covert than regular pay-per-click ads like Google AdWords. They look like normal text links, but they don’t actually jump where you expect them to. For example, I clicked on a text link ad with anchor text “MSN” expecting it would take me to MSN’s search, but instead it took me to the website of some sort of SEO service provider. As we all know, it’s quite common for people to link to their site using unrelated anchor text. That’s all text link ads are doing. So, by nature, text link ads are no more misleading than any other kind of link.

Q: Are they bad for the Web?
A: When people can’t trust the links they’re clicking on, won’t they stop clicking? Won’t this have a detrimental effect on the perceived usability of the Web? I said above that text link ads aren’t really any more misleading by nature than normal text links. In reality, though, I suspect they may encourage the misleading use of anchor text, so in that respect, I think they’re detrimental to the perceived usability of the Web. But does this make them bad for the Web? I don’t think so. In fact, I think their overall effect will be good. By bringing more advertisers (i.e. businesses) to the Web, text link ads ultimately make the Web more useful. Users will quickly recognize text link ads for what they are and adapt.

Q: Are they effective for advertisers?
A: I can’t really answer that. I’ve never used them, so you’ll have to ask someone who has. Of course, you could ask one of the companies that offers text link ad technology, but you already know their answer…

Q: Will they become more popular?
A: Once again, I can’t answer that question with any authority. But I have my suspicions; I suspect they will become more popular, simply because there are a lot of web publishers out there who are willing to try programs that offer a revenue return. Ultimately, the popularity of text link ads hinges how successful they are for advertisers, not how well-liked they are among users.

Q: Can I stop it happening to my reprint article?
A: No. I believe that power lies solely with the publisher. Of course, you can forbid it in your reprint guidelines, but that will simply limit the number of times your article is reprinted (consequently limiting your referral traffic and link popularity).

Conclusion - Are any of these questions really important to article submission authors?

In my humble opinion, the answer, once again, is “No!” As authors of reprint articles, we love the Google AdSense arrangement because it creates a demand for quality content. The more high quality articles a publisher reprints, the higher their site rank, the greater their traffic, and the more they earn from the pay-per-click ads on their site. As a result, our article submissions get widely published and we build brand awareness, credibility, authority, referral traffic, and – of course – link popularity (i.e. increased rank).

Text link ads are no different. Like Google ads, they encourage the publisher to acquire more high quality content. It’s as simple as that.

“But my article is hijacked! What if the reader doesn’t return?” There’s no denying we’d prefer to keep our reader. But most readers know where the ‘Back’ button is, so if your article is good enough, they’ll be sure to click it. And if they don’t, well at least you’ve got the permanent link back to your site in the byline of your article. And after all, that’s one of the big benefits of article submission, isn’t it?

Anyway, enough talk. Let’s see how it all unfolds.

Happy hijacking!
